La VS1 es la categoría más importante dentro de VS-RTC, y probablemente la más importante de las competiciones del SimRacing Español. Cuenta con 11 equipos y 22 pilotos, todos ellos con un nivel y conocimiento del pilotaje virtual al alcance de muy pocos.
Esta temporada, que se inició en el circuito de Albert Park, el día 29 de marzo, es la cuarta temporada de este magnífico torneo, que reúne en la pista a los más destacados pilotos del SimRacing nacional. Y para ello, la organización pone a disposición el máximo despliegue técnico al alcance: cobertura en directo de todas las carreras de la temporada, que serán comentadas por nuestros locutores, y con la presencia de pilotos invitados que nos explicarán el funcioanmiento y los entresijos del pilotaje de los monoplazas así como los puntos clave de los circuitos.
El calendario de la temporada 2009 de la VS1, estará formado por 18 carreras, desde marzo hasta octubre, en las que los pilotos deberán luchar por conseguir el máximo numero de puntos posibles y convertirse en el campeón.
Como gran novedad, el piloto que consiga disputar el maximo número de vueltas se llevará consigo un volante G25-M2, totalmente artesanal, réplica del volante del equipo BMW Sauber de la temporada 2007.
